Break down on Bascule Bridge in Lowestoft causes traffic woes

Shoppers hoping for a quick last minute bargain in Lowestoft face delays after a car broke down on the Bascule Bridge.
A BMW car is awaiting recovery after it got into difficulty on the A12 through the town.
Traffic is queuing as far back as ASDA on Horn Hill.
A call to the emergency services was made at 1.21pm and Suffolk Police are on the scene and a recovery vehicle has been called.
A police spokesman said: 'If members of the public could avoid the area that would assist the situation.'
