THE motorbike rider who died in a crash near Beccles has been named by police.
Andrew Reeder, 23, from Lowestoft, died after the black Suzuki motorcycle he was riding collided with a tree off the A145 London Road at Brampton on Wednesday.
A police spokesman said: 'An inquest has been opened and adjourned this morning into the death of Andrew Reeder, 23, from Lowestoft. Emergency services were contacted about 1.20pm on Wednesday to reports of the single vehicle crash. Sadly, despite attempts to revive him, he was pronounced dead at the scene.'
The inquest has now been opened and adjourned to a date to be fixed.
The spokesman added: 'Police are continuing to ask anyone who may have seen the bike, which was travelling along the A145 towards the A12, prior to collision or the crash itself to contact PC Andy Smith at the Serious Collision Investigation Team on 101.'
