A boy suffered injuries after he was involved in a collision with a Renault Clio in Ipswich Road, Lowestoft, shortly after 8.30am today.

The boy suffered foot injuries, not thought to be serious, and was taken to James Paget University Hospital in Gorleston, an East of England Ambulance Service spokesman said.

The spokesman added the boy was 10 years old.

No action was taken over the driver of the Renault Clio, a spokesman for Suffolk police said.
