A boy as young as 10 is being hunted in connection with a distraction burglary in which cash was stolen from a couple's Lowestoft home.
The boy knocked on the door of the house in Montgomery Avenue and persuaded a man in his 60s to allow him into the back garden, where they were joined by the resident's wife.
A man then walked into the house and was joined by the boy before they stole a black purse and red leather shopping bag, both containing cash.
The pair struck at about 1.40pm on Tuesday and fled along Montgomery Avenue before speeding off in a dark-coloured car.
The boy is described as white, aged between 10 and 15, about 5ft, and of thin build. He appeared to have a burned or scarred arm, which he held as though it had been injured.
