An eight-year-old boy on a bicycle was hit by a car in Bowthorpe on Tuesday afternoon.
Police were called to the scene at approximately 3.30pm following the collision on Bowthorpe Hall Road.
The East of England Ambulance Service sent an ambulance crew and an ambulance officer who treated the boy for leg pain.
He was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital for further treatment but his injuries are not thought to be serious or life threatening.
