Police are appealing for witnesses after a 92-year-old woman riding her mobility scooter was injured in a road traffic collision with a motorbike today.
The Bowthorpe woman was travelling from Humbleyard when she was involved in a crash in Rawley Road at the junction with Humbleyard.
She sustained a fractured right leg and heavy bruising in the incident, which occurred at 9.53am. Police say the Suzuki motorcyle was being ridden by a 56-year-old woman, who was unhurt, along Rawley Road towards Clover Hill.
Witnessed are being urged to contact PC Robert Warrent on 101.
