Ten members of the Norfolk Gardens Trust decided to mark the Humphry Repton 200 year by publishing a book on his known work in the county, comprising 23 sites, and bring together for the first time all the illustrations from his seven Norfolk Red Books.

With a total of 305 images and 57,000 words, the book launch is at Aylsham Parish Church on Tuesday, May 29 at 6.30pm.

The three editors will be there along with the research team. The colourful and informative book was printed in Aylsham by Barnwell Print and costs £20.

A host of events celebrating the bi-centenary of Repton, who is buried in Aylsham churchyard along with other generations of his family, are being held in Norfolk and across the country.
