A Norwich bookshop has won the East of England category in The British Book Awards' Independent Bookshop of the Year awards.

The Book Hive, on London Street, was nominated this year along with Wymondham's Kett's Books and bookshops in Spalding and Bedford.

Despite being nominated for the East of England category on multiple occasions, The Book Hive had never manage to bag the big prize.

Until now.
