Police have confirmed that a body found 75 miles off the Dutch coast is that of missing Cromer holidaymaker Suzanne Hughes.
The body, found earlier this week, was taken to Holland where a post mortem examination carried out yesterday concluded there were no suspicious circumstances.
Mrs Hughes, 67, was last seen at about 10.30pm on July 17, the day before she was due to return from Cromer to her West Midlands home at Kineton Green, Solihull.
She had been staying in the town’s Merchant Court with her husband Alan, daughter and grandson.
Police and coastguards mounted an extensive search and urged the public to look out for her.
A police spokesman said a file would now be prepared for the coroner.
As the tragic news emerged earlier this week, people began posting sympathy messages to her family on a public community Facebook page: Are You on Holiday in Cromer and Norfolk? through which her family had been trying to spread the word and help find Mrs Hughes.
