Police believe the body is that of missing man Alan Rogers

A body found by police at a farm on Friday night is believed to be that of missing man Alan Rogers.

The body was discovered on a farm track close to Hall Farm in Nowton, near Bury St Edmunds, at about 6.50pm.

The 62-year-old had been missing from his home in Cooper Lane, Nowton, since Tuesday.

The death is not being treated as suspicious and a police spokesman said the coroner would be informed and an inquest opened in due course.
