The body of a man has been found in Gorleston.

Police were called at around 6.20am after the body was discovered in Magnolia Green.

The death is currently being treated as unexplained, but is not thought to be suspicious.

Police put up a tent and sealed off the area during investigations, before leaving the scene at around 12.30pm.

A man who lives in Oak Road, who wished to remain anonymous, said he saw six police cars and two ambulances on the road.

He said: “I opened the curtains at around 6am to see what the weather was like, because I was going to play golf, and I saw them carrying the body out.”

Another man who lives in Magnolia Green said he let his dog out near where the man was found at around 2.30am and did not notice anything at the time.
