BMW is stolen from Old Buckenham home and left abandoned in Great Hockham

A black BMW has been stolen from a home in Old Buckenham.

The car was taken from the driveway of a property in Attleborough Road between 6.30pm and 7.150pm on Monday when entrance was gained to the building by an insecure door.

A handbag containing a purse and two sets of car keys were taken from the property and the black BMW M5 was driven away from the driveway.

The vehicle was later recovered in the Great Hockham area.

Anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity in the area between the times stated, particularly a silver coloured BMW, or anyone with information should contact Det Con Debbie Johnston at Thetford CID on 101.
