REFUSE collections across Lowestoft and north Suffolk today (Friday) have been 'suspended' by Waveney Norse.
'Due to the weather this morning Refuse Collection has been suspended in most areas for Health and safety reasons, but we will review this later on in the day and if we can service some areas we will do our very best,' Stuart Mortimer, Service Manager (Refuse & Recycling), for Waveney Norse said.
'We suggest to all householders who don't get a collection today, to leave their bins out on Monday and we will endeavour to catch up over the course of next week, weather permitting.'
The affected areas are: Southwold, Wrentham and surrounding rural areas, North Cove/Barnby, Worlingham, Kirkley/Pakefield/Parkhill/Oulton.
