OFFICERS from Great Yarmouth Police Station are appealing for information after burglars stole two bikes from a garage in Gorleston.

Burglars forced their way into a garage on Grosvenor Mews, near Gorleston High Street between 2.50am and 3am on Saturday, March 10. A black Honda CBR 600 motorbike was stolen from the garage and wheeled to the main road. A boys blue Raleigh mountain bike was also taken.

The motorbike was recovered later that morning near to the Pilot Station on Riverside Road, Gorleston. The motorbike had been in pristine condition but was found damaged almost beyond repair. The pedal cycle has not been recovered.

Police want to hear from anyone who may have been in the area of the High Street or Riverside Road and may have seen anything suspicious.
