There are likely to be a few twists and turns this season as Norwich try to gain promotion back into the Premiership - but not all of them will be on the pitch.

The innovative new big screen at Carrow Road, the first rotating big screen in world football, has got Canaries fans into a spin since being unveiled before Saturday's opening home match of the season against Sheffield Wednesday.

The permanantely-fixed big screen, located in front of the Holiday Inn Hotel between the South Stand and the Barclay Stand, rotates from left to right, allowing spectators to enjoy video content, including highlights from previous matches, replays of City's goals and an exclusive pre-match show.

The screen, which has affectionately been dubbed 'Screeny McScreenface' by fans on social media, was one of the main points among supporters following Tuesday night's 1-0 win over Bristol City during which Jonny Howson's well-worked inner was replayed to the packed crowd.

Norwich supporters have taken to social media to express their opinions on the club's latest addition and a parody Twitter account for the screen has even been created, attracting over 100 followers in the space of a few days.

City's Head of Marketing Ed Guichard said he was 'delighted' with how the screen had gone down with fans.

He said: 'When you introduce new things like this to a football stadium you never know how its going to go down. But we're absolutely delighted, the fans have responded really well to it. It's the first of its kind which is absolutely fantastic for the club and our fans.'
