New speed warnings for drivers could be put up outside an historic school.
Holt Town Council has applied to Norfolk County Council to put up flashing 20mph signs on Cromer Road next to Gresham's School.
A decision will be made by the county council by spring this year.
If approved, the signs would cost around £3,600 and half the bill would be paid by Gresham's.
The rest would be paid for by the county council.
