Police appeal for witnesses to serious bike and lorry crash

Witnesses to a serious crash yesterday morning are being asked to contact Norfolk Police.

The incident happened yesterday at around 8.20am on Norwich Road in Besthorpe, near Attleborough.

A female cyclist was involved in a collision with a parked lorry.

The rider of the bicycle suffered serious injuries and was taken to Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital by the East of England Air Ambulance where she remains.

Anyone who may have witnessed the collision should contact the Norfolk Police on 101 quoting reference 97 of July 18.

Officers would also like to hear from anyone who may have dash cam footage of the incident.
