Belton couple threatened by robbers

A couple were threatened by robbbers who they forced their way into their Belton home.

The couple were at home in Berry Close when two men called at the property. They forced their way in and threatened the pair, demaning money.

The robbers stole a purse and mobile phone and a vehicle was heard driving away after they left.

No one was hurt in the incident, which happened at around 10pm last Friday, and police are now appealing for witnesses.

The men are described as white and no older than 30. They were wearing dark clothing and hooded tops. One was six foot tall and of slim build, while the other was shorter and stockier.
