Fire units from Great Yarmouth, Gorleston, and Acle were called to a bedroom fire in Gorleston late yesterday afternoon after it spread to three other houses.
An aerial platform had to be set up to tackle the blaze in Nuffield Close after the service received a call at 4.15pm.
The bedroom at the private house was said to be well alight by 4.30pm and later spread to three other properties.
The blaze was extinguished by 6.22pm.
