Beavers and Cubs in Norwich area can get advice for animal badges from Pets at Home stores

Local Beaver and Cub Scout groups are being offered free workshops to help members gain their animal care badge.

Advisors at Pets at Home stores in Norwich - on the Norfolk Retail Park in Longwater, Sprowston Retail Park and on Hall Road - will offer advice on how to care for pets responsibly as part of the badge criteria.

To obtain their Animal Friend Badge and Animal Carer Badge, Beaver Scouts will learn how to care for small animals, freshwater fish and tropical fish along with the correct type and quantities of food to feed them.

They will also find out the right habitats for small animals and where they sleep.
