Great Yarmouth Basketball will host a basketball Seafront Open Session (SOS) on Saturday, to get more people active in the local community and celebrate Team GB's achievements at the Rio 2016 Games.

The event is part of I Am Team GB - a nationwide campaign that has inspired thousands of UK clubs to open their doors to new participants.

Great Yarmouth Basketball said they are proud to fly the I Am Team GB flag on the east coast. From 12 - 2pm coaches James Borg and Tom Allard will be heading to the Seafront Courts on North Drive to run an SOS for the whole community.

Club president Patrick Manifold said: 'We are so pleased to put on this great event and be part of I Am Team GB. Sport brings communities closer together and we are immensely proud at Great Yarmouth Basketball to be part of this nationwide celebration of sport'.
