Baby deer trapped in metal fencing at North Walsham

A baby deer which was in distress after getting trapped in metal fencing was rescued by firefighters.

Two crews from Aylsham and Stalham were called to the railway bridge on Aylsham Road, North Walsham, just after 2pm today after a member of the public spotted the animal.

The firefighters called the RSPCA and with the help of an inspector the animal was released uninjured back into the wild just before 2.45pm.
