An Aylsham man has been charged with GBH with intent to resist arrest after a policeman was injured when he was hit by a car.
Stephen John Fahri, of Janny's Close, has also been charged with, dangerous driving, theft, making off without payment and common assault following the collision in Tunbridge Wells, Kent on December 9.
The 30-year-old appeared at Sevenoaks Magistrates Court this morning and was remanded in custody. A date for his next hearing has not yet been fixed.
A 30-year-old woman from Beckenham, London arrested at the same time on suspicion of harbouring a criminal has been bailed pending further enquiries until February 14.
