The award winning Southwold Museum is set to open its doors for the first time this year.

The museum, which is the current Suffolk Museum of the Year, will be open everyday from Saturday April 1 between 2pm – 4pm until the end of October.

The unique cottage museum is dedicated to the local and natural history of Southwold and the surrounding area.

Owned and managed by the Southwold Museum and Historical Society, the tiny building houses a collection of objects, paintings, photographs, models and wildlife exhibits- spanning from fossil remains through to the Viking occupation, sea battles, the development of Southwold and much, much more.
