Attleborough resident scares off balaclava wearing burglar

Police are appealing for information following an attempted burglary in Attleborough.

It happened at an address in Plumstead Drive at about 7.45pm on Thursday, March 3.

The occupant was alerted to someone attempting to access the front door of the property.

When they opened the door a man in a black balaclava was seen to run away before making off in what is believed to be a silver/grey Vauxhall Vectra.

The vehicle left in the direction of Norwich Road with no lights on.

Anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity in the area or anyone with information should contact Det Con James Morgan at Thetford Police Station on 101.
