A residential park in Attleborough has presented an independence charity with a Christmas bonus.

Oak Tree Park have held numerous fundraising events throughout the year and the grand sum of their efforts was donated to Independence Matters' community hub in Station Road, Attleborough.

Pete and Jan Beauchamp, and Reg and Sylvia Loveday, presented the centre with a card and £250.

Julie Smith gratefully accepted the cheque on behalf of the centre and showed the visitors around the facility.

The Attleborough Community Hub is one of more than 20 across Norfolk, supporting people with learning and physical disabilities, young people in transition, the elderly and people living with dementia and their families.

The money raised from the residential park's quiz nights and bake offs will help the hub to continue facilitating the independence of their service-users.
