Knitters at an Attleborough sheltered housing scheme have hit a fundraising milestone after their most recent donation.
The knitting circle at Holly Court have been fundraising to support East Anglia's Children's Hospices (EACH) since 2006. Every member pays 1 a week at their knitting sessions, and this money is donated along with funds raised from the sale of knitted goods. Their most recent donation of 1,000 means that their grand total is now up to 5,500.
The group of knitters meet up regularly and the fruits of their labours are sold purely to the residents and visitors at Holly Court, including cushions and blankets. Claire LeLievre, Norfolk fundraiser for EACH said: 'We're so pleased the knitting group at Holly Court have continued fundraising to support our work.'
