Someone damaged a lock on a church gate while trying to break into the building.
The attempted burglary happened at All Saints Church in Dickleburgh, near Diss, between 9pm on Friday, December 16 and 9am the following day.
The culprit or culprits forced open a wrought iron gate damaging the lock. They gained access to the porch but not to the main church.
Anyone with information should contact Diss Police Station on 101.
