An athletics club is inviting all members past and present to attend its annual general meeting as it prepares to celebrate its 65th anniversary.
Established in 1952 by a group of local enthusiasts who wanted to give people the opportunity to participate in athletics after they left school,
Diss and District Athletics Club is still going strong 65 years later, offering a range of athletics activities to young people and adults.
To celebrate its landmark anniversary this year, the club is appealing for anyone with old photographs, trophies or other memorabilia from the club's history to share them at the club AGM, which will take place at Diss Sports Ground, Shelfanger Road, Diss on Tuesday, March 14.
For more information or to share memories of the club, contact dissathleticsclub@gmail.com
