A Norfolk gin producer is offering a discount to people who were planning on going to the Norwich Gin Festival this weekend.

The festival was cancelled at short notice after the organisers went into administration, with ticket holders told they will not be reimbursed.

Subsequently, the makers of a Norfolk gin have decided to offer a discount to ticket holders.

Artificer’s Gin is made from Norfolk water and is usually priced at £34.95 per bottle, but ticket holders will be able to buy one bottle for £29.95 across Friday and Saturday from Reno Wine in Wymondham.

Johnny Wyndham, co-owner of Reno Wines, said: “I know how disappointed people will be to hear the gin festival has been cancelled and we know lots of people will now be planning their own gin parties anyway, so we thought we would do our bit to help.

“Artificer’s Gin has been well supported by the good people of Norfolk so we would like to give something back.”
