Visitors to Brancaster Staithe were treated to a weekend of art and ale as two events took place.
The Midsummer Art Exhibition, which was held at the village hall, saw 17 local artists brought together to display their work.
As well as the exhibition, which displayed a range of styles, visitors were treated to a portrait master class by painter John Glover.
The exhibition gives the artists an opportunity to see each other's work as well the chance to catch a collector's eye.
Karen Adams, an artist and one of the organisers, said: 'It's enjoyable, we learn from one another and admire each other's work. I'm always amazed at how many different styles there are.'
Before the exhibition opened five of the works on display had already sold after a private viewing.
Meanwhile just a little way down the road a different form of art was being celebrated – the art of the ale.
The Jolly Sailors pub held its fourth ale and music festival with almost 40 local beers on offer as well as performances from a range of bands.
Assistant manager John Turner said: 'It has been very lively all weekend. We've pretty much sold out. It's the biggest festival this Norfolk coast has seen in a long time, possibly the biggest ever.'
As well as a raffle, buckets have been collecting for Nelson's Journey, a children's bereavement charity.
