Arsonists attacked a tree this afternoon, but quick thinking members of the public left fire crews with nothing to do.
A Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service crew from Earlham responded to reports of a small fire in the open on George Pope Road in Catton Grove, at about 1.25pm. However, by the time they arrived it had been put out by a nearby resident.
Anyone with any information call police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
