Four men have been arrested in connection with an off-licence robbery at Cromer, where the shopkeeper was beaten unconscious and left with severe injuries to his face.
None of the men has been charged however, and police are continuing their inquiries into the raid on the Local shop in Hamilton Road last Tuesday at 10pm.
Shopkeeper Jonathan Dunn, 52, spent several days in hospital being treated for head injuries, included a suspected broken jaw, but was discharged at the weekend and has gone to recover with relatives outside Norfolk.
Police today said a 33-year-old man from Cromer was arrested on Friday on suspicion of robbery. A further three men, a 16-year-old and 25-year-old from Cromer, and 19-year-old from Norwich, were arrested on Saturday.
All of them have been released on police bail while inquiries continue.
The shop's CCTV camera shows two men, one with a balaclava, the other wearing a hoodie, attack Mr Dunn, before taking cash from the till in a raid which lasted only a few seconds.
