Archant has been shortlisted in four categories at this year's upcoming British Media Awards.

The Norwich-based publishing company is among several national newspaper and magazine publishers which will vie for awards at a ceremony in London in May.

Its international title The New European, which was launched in the aftermath of the EU referendum last summer, is up for three awards, while the Eastern Daily Press has also been shortlisted.

The New European has been shortlisted in the following categories: Content Team of the Year, Print Product of the Year, and Launch of the Year.

The EDP has been shortlisted in the Editorial Campaign of the Year for its Mental Health Watch campaign - which was launched in October 2015.

It faces competition from media organisations such as the Birmingham Mail, BBC, and The Guardian.

The ceremony is on May 3.
