A busy road approaching the A47 will be closed overnight for six days next week as work to install traffic lights begins on Monday.
The signals, on Mattishall Road, will aim to keep traffic flowing towards the Honingham roundabout during the morning rush hour.
The work will be carried out between 8pm and 6am from Monday until Saturday meaning the road will be closed from its junction with Norwich Road to the A47.
A signed diversion will direct traffic along Berry's Lane and the A47.
From Monday March 21 work will take place during daytime off-peak hours for five days with lane closures on Mattishall Road.
