An apple day and autumn plant sale, with entertainment provided by morris dancers, will be held at a popular nature reserve.
Delicious homemade apple cakes, pies and produce donated by Suffolk Wildlife Trust volunteers at the event at Redgrave and Lopham Fen, near Bressingham.
Experts from Suffolk Traditional Orchard Group will be in the education centre to help identify people's apples and other fruit, as well as provide cookery demonstrations and tastings.
Outside, local crafts people will be demonstrating spoon carving, plant dyeing and whittling during the event between 10.30am and 3pm.
For gardeners there will be shrubs, perennials, bulbs and carnivorous plants on sale, as well as vintage and used gardening tools and equipment.
Compost wraps and fen produce, including firewood and mulch, will be available at special discounted prices for the day and the trust will have its popular donated plant stall.
Families will have plenty to keep them occupied with free, fun, apple-themed games, craft activities and a trail.
Kenninghall Morris will also provide a colourful display at 12.30pm and 1.30pm.
Redgrave and Lopham Fen education officer Deborah Key said: 'Apple Day is always great fun with a variety of activities for everyone and a chance for people to have the mystery apple from their garden identified.'
Hot dogs will be available from The Flying Chef and the Centre will be open throughout the day serving hot and cold light refreshments including soup, savouries, tea and cakes.
Entry to the event will be £3 for adults and £2 for children. Dogs are welcome on a short lead.
Redgrave and Lopham Fen nature reserve is home to insect-eating plants and Britain's biggest spider, the fen raft spider. It is one of the most important wetlands in Europe and the source of the River Waveney.
