Appeal over Hugo the cat found in north Suffolk

Do you know this black cat which was found in Benacre, near Lowestoft, in a poor state earlier this month?

The cat is now being cared for by staff at the Wangford Veterinary Clinic where he was brought in on July 9 after he was found in Benacre.

Staff at the clinic have called him Hugo.

Hugo was found with his front leg through his collar and vets say he was very hungry, a little thin and looked a bit sorry for himself.

Hugo, who is neutered, is not micro chipped and despite checks with other vets, Wangford Veterinary Clinic still does not know where he came from.

He is about three-years-old and after a health check and bit of TLC Hugo is now fit and well.

Anyone who thinks they know Hugo should call Wangford Veterinary Clinic on 01502 578999 between 8.30am and 6pm.
