Appeal after school bus full of children and two cars crash on A12 near Hopton

Witnesses are being asked to come forward after a Cliff Park school bus and a 4x4 collided on Lowestoft Road near Hopton.

A child was taken to hospital with minor injuries after the crash which happened at around 3.30pm on Friday, January 15.

In a statement, a spokesman for Norfolk Police said: 'A small light coloured car stopped abruptly, without warning, on the inside-lane, causing a coach full of school children to take avoiding action.

'In doing so a Range Rover collided with the rear of the coach and a Fiat Punto.'

The A12 southbound was partially blocked between Bridge Road junction and Links Road junction while emergency services attended the scene.
