Police are seeking information after thieves stole a baby goat from a Lowestoft petting zoo.

The baby goat, known as Poppy, was stolen from Pets Corner in Bridge Road, Oulton Broad at sometime between 5pm on Wednesday, November 11 and 9am on Thursday, November 12.

A police spokesman said: 'Thieves are believed to have broken into the premises and stolen Poppy from a stable at the back of the property.

'She is seven-months-old, has dark grey hair, some of which is long and was wearing a collar with her name on. One of a pair of twin goats, the owners report that her sister is pining for her.'

Officers are appealing for anybody who has information about the incident or who knows the whereabouts of Poppy the goat to contact Lowestoft police on 101, or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
