Appeal after 1,500 geese stolen from Bawburgh

Thieves have stolen 1,500 geese from a village to the west of Norwich.

The animals were taken yesterday from land in the Bawburgh area between 3am and 8am.

Police are now looking to speak with anyone who may have seen suspicious activity in the area, or if they have been offered geese for sale.

Anyone with information should contact PCSO Darrin Sore at Hethersett and Mulbarton Safer Neighbourhood Team on 101.
