A tennis club served up a treat for players at the launch of its summer season.
Wymondham Tennis Club welcomed new and existing players to start the season in style with a fun day of games at the club's all-weather courts on Sunday, April 30.
It also held an open day on Saturday, May 6 for people of any age, ability and background to try out the game, with a mixture of coaching and free play availavle for all.
Chairman Charles Armstrong said: 'Our membership numbers are increasing every year as the popularity of tennis continues to grow in the UK.
'Wymondham Tennis Club is delighted to have three excellent courts for local people to enjoy – it's Wymondham's hidden gem inside Ketts Park.'
Head coach Sam Howlett is keen for as many people as possible to get playing, saying: 'We have something for everyone here at the club, no matter your standard or fitness level.
'For players who have not played recently we have our rusty rackets sessions. For those that enjoy an intense workout, our cardio tennis is very popular, as well as coaching, club nights, club sides and just coming down to hit tennis balls with some friendly faces.'
New players are very welcome to join club nights on Tuesday and Friday evenings from 6pm for relaxed and social match play.
