Another motorcycle crash on Norfolk roads leaves biker with serious head injuries

A police appeal has been launched after another motorcycle crash on Norfolk's roads left a man in his 40s with serious head injuries.

The man, from the Dereham area, was riding a white and red Yamaha motorbike when he collided with a red Peugeot 307 on the Weeting side of Mundford Road near the level crossing at Brandon. The crash took place yesterday (Tuesday) at around 5.50pm.

The man suffered injuries to his arm and ribs as well as serious head injuries, according to a police spokesman. The Peugeot driver recieved minor arm injuries.

PC Wendy Frary, Wymondham Roads Policing, would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision or the manner of driving of either vehicle prior to the incident. PC Frary can be contacted on 101.
