Visitors to a free event can experience an inflatable assault course, wellbeing donkeys, see the community police car, and meet Jack 'not' Sparrow this Saturday.
The annual Wymondham Community Picnic at Wymondham Rugby Club will also be attended by more than 40 volunteers from the town's cancer support charity Star Throwers, who will receive a free VIP lunch sponsored by Waitrose and prepared by Roots Community Coffee Shop.
Star Throwers raise awareness and understanding of cancer treatment options and offer holistic supportive services to support wellbeing.
The event comes at the end of national Volunteers' Week, which recognises the work of volunteers throughout the UK.
The public are welcome to bring their own picnics from 11.30am – 3pm and the VIP lunch takes places from 12-2pm.
A volunteer team runs the picnic, which is organised by Ramona Chenery.
