Four people from Great Yarmouth have appeared in court charged with causing unnecessary suffering to an animal.
The RSPCA are bringing charges against the four. David Gilliver, 20, of Ordnance Road, Ben Gilliver, 23, of Nelson Road South, David Gay, 39, and Jeanette Gilliver, 43, both c/o Albion Road, appeared at Great Yarmouth Magistrates' Court today (Friday).
They all pleaded not guilty to the charges and were bailed until a further hearing on October 19.
A fifth defendant Andrew Ellis, did not appear in court yesterday but is due to appear on the 19th.
