Anger as Norwich Disney-themed pub crawl cancelled at last minute

Disney fans hoping to visit the pubs of Norwich this week dressed as their favourite characters have been left confused.
A Disney-themed pub crawl which was meant to be held in the city on Monday night was suddenly rearranged and then cancelled.
The event was initially delayed until Thursday, June 15 due to university exams, according to the event's page on Facebook.
But according to online ticketing platform Fatsoma, which was selling tickets at £6 each, the pub crawl is no longer going ahead.
Jonathan Sparks, from Fatsoma, said: 'This situation has been brought to our attention and the event organiser has confirmed that this event is not taking place.

'Refunds are currently being actioned and the event organiser is contacting all ticket holders.'
The customers we have spoken to are yet to hear from the organisers.

The pub crawl was organised by a group called 'What's On? UEA' but a tweet from the university's official events Twitter account said it had nothing to do with the UEA.
Nikki Aldous, 23, from Norwich, was looking forward to attending. She said: 'I think it's a real letdown. My friend and I were really excited about this event.
'We managed to get tickets for Monday, then without any warning they suddenly postponed the date.
'I was annoyed as I had taken time off work and we'd bought costumes, so I commented on Facebook saying we were not very happy but later they removed me from the page and blocked me from messaging them.
'I haven't been able to contact anyone since and to find out through someone else that it's been cancelled is a joke. It's all been a waste of time.'
Rosemary Peers, 30, from Blofield Heath, also purchased tickets for the event. She said: 'I saw it advertised on Facebook a while ago and was planning to go with friends.
'We had just started arranging transport when we noticed the date had changed. We went on Facebook to try and find out more information, only to discover the page had vanished. It's really confusing as the organisers haven't told us anything.'
The pub crawl was supposed to begin at The Mischief pub on Fye Bridge Street at 8pm.
The pub's general manager, Jeff Davies, said staff are aware of the cancellation.
'With or without the pub crawl we are gearing up for a big Thursday night,' he said. 'We're a student venue and often get a lot of people coming in dressed up, so if people still want to wear their costumes, they're welcome to.'
The event's Facebook page has now been taken down and the organisers could not be reached for comment.
