St Mary’s Church, Houghton on the Hill, near Swaffham, will open at 2pm on Saturday, July 11, as the lockdown restriction ease.

Kate Gordon, one of the church’s trustees, said it was entirely funded by donations, and it meant a lot to be able to reopen.

Mrs Gordon said: “We want to be able to show people everything that’s been beautifully preserved during the lockdown.

“Normally we host converts and events, but just starting up again is a great step forward.”

will be open every afternoon 2pm-4pm until October, and will then be only open at weekends.
