Anchorage Trust in Great Yarmouth provides support and activities for vulnerable young people in the borough, and has been boosted by a pair of recent events.

Jane and Barry Cockrill, of Caister, raised £1,200 for the Trust at their annual Christmas lights event, which saw them light up their house and collect donations.

The trust has also been given a £407 boost by the Bradwell Flower Club, who raised funds through a raffle at St George's Theatre in Great Yarmouth. They were visited by the trust's housing manager, Gail Hoods, who gave a talk about the charity's work and personally thanked them for their effort.

Ben Stone, Anchorage Trust chief executive, said: 'A huge thank you to Jean Grist and all at the Bradwell Flower Club, and to Jane and Barry, for raising such fantastic amounts for us.'
