Emergency services were called to Bungay after a man in his 70s collapsed in the street.
The ambulance service was called to St John's Road at 4.51pm.
An ambulance and two rapid response vehicles were sent and an off duty paramedic was also at the scene.
A police spokesman said the man was unconscious and not breathing and was being treated at the scene.
