Business and charity leaders have joined formers to launch a dementia action alliance.
The Great Yarmouth Dementia Action Alliance is a partnership between the charities Alzheimer's Society and Business in the Community and a number of key local stakeholders.
Trevor Edwards from Business in the Community said: 'We are committed to meeting the growing need for supporting and transforming the lives of those with dementia in our local community and their carers, together with raising awareness within customer-facing organisations.
'The group is looking for businesses, organisations and individuals with a passion for the subject to join our current membership, perhaps be part of the steering group or even chair the group to help us move forward.'
