Bosses at the city centre bar say they do not yet know when it can re-open after a fire caused “extensive damage” in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

The bar has been closed since March 2 this year after a fire left extensive smoke, heat and water damage.

A spokesperson for All Bar One said on Tuesday: “We are investing in refurbishing the bar, work has begun and we plan to reopen at the end of July.”

Three fire crews tackled the fire at the bar and no-one was injured.

A spokesperson from the Norfolk Fire Service described the cause of the fire as “accidental emission”.
